Peri Peri Chicken Wrap
Ingredients
Chicken breast | 1kg/5 pcs |
Swiss Bear Peri Peri Sauce | 150g |
Oil | 30g |
Sugar | 40g |
Salt | 10g |
Black pepper | 5g |
Red, green & yellow capsicum, thinly sliced | 600g |
Onion, thinly sliced | 200g |
Lettuce | |
Tortilla wrap |
STEP 1
In a mixing bowl, combine Swiss Bear Peri Peri sauce, oil, sugar, salt and pepper. Mix well.
STEP 2
Poke the chicken breast with a fork to allow better marinate and add them into the marinade. Mix until well coated.
STEP 3
Marinate for at least 5 hours or best overnight.
STEP 4
In a grill pan, grill the marinated chicken breast for 5 mins each side until fully cooked. Set aside to rest before thinly slice.
STEP 5
In another pan, sauté onion until lightly brown, add in capsicum and continue to cook until soft and caramelized.
STEP 6
To assemble, lay down few pieces of lettuce leaves at the center of a wrap, follow by a few slices of the chicken slice and top with some of the caramelized capsicum. Drizzle some more Swiss Bear Peri Peri Sauce over the top.
STEP 7
Fold in the side and roll. Lightly sear the folded side on a hot grill pan to seal the wrap.
